How does it work?
SafeGuard is a hardware and software complex that automatically analyses the position and trajectory of cranes and loads and prevents collisions with other objects.
- 01Laser rangefinders mounted on the crane bridge and trolley determine the coordinates of the crane and load.
- 02Warning and emergency distances are set in the software. When an object approaches an obstacle, the system commands preliminary braking.
- 03At the critical distance, the system stops the crane. Further movement is possible only in the safe direction.
- 04A site map can include stationary and moving obstacles with individual rules: restricted entry, reduced speed and more.
